What we do at Mawdesley Methodist Church

At Mawdesley Mawdesley Methodist Church we have a Service every Sunday at 10:30am. Also we have an opens Doors event every 1st Tuesday morning 9:30am till 12pm.

HISTORY OF MAWDESLEY METHODIST CHURCH

There has been a Methodist presence in Mawdesley since the early 1800s at least our present building was opened in 1905.Today Mawdesley Methodist Church is here to serve God in the community of Mawdesley village and beyond. We are glad to work in partnership with our Christian friends at the Parish Church and the RC Church with whom we share regularly in village events and at the major Christian festivals. We take seriously our commitment to work within the community, we are proud of our links with the local schools and Uniformed Organisations. Along with other Churches in the village we take our turn in hosting special school services and parade services .
All the activities organised by our church are open to anyone, you don’t have to be a member to join in. We aim to be a welcoming Church. If you are looking for someone to share an interest, for friendship,
for support through difficult times, for Christian fellowship we might just be able to help you. Most importantly we are a worshipping community of Christian believers.
